The Loft :: Engaging Children's Spirituality through the Senses of Learning

I love my church...

...and I'm grateful for the commitment that it has made to the (intentional) spiritual formation of (our) children...

...and the emergence of such vision in the form of an environment conducive to engage children through various venues, with multiple learning styles in a layered fashion...

...Now, may God continue to help us develop and build a community/team of leaders passionately and authentically releasing life, strength and wisdom into these young lives...

...by the prayer-filled power and presence of God that produces true and lasting life-formation...

...more to come!

This looks absolutely amazing. What kind of...structure is there? I mean as far as all the different rooms. Do the kids spend some time in each, or will it vary from week to week?

Here's the brief synopsis:

Grades are dived K-2 & 3-5.

These groups are together a large group setting for worship/teaching/interaction... Then each class/grade goes to one studio each week, then the next week a different.

Each studio deals with the same Story from Scripture, though each studio utilizes a different venue of learning and engagement, each extracting and looking a the same story from a different angle and perspective...

That sounds really great! Approaching the different learning styles like that is a creative approach to kids' ministry that will certainly be effective.
